Meet the Doctor

Dr. Zachary Digney is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic that is proud to be serving the Loveland and Northern Colorado communities. With an extensive background in healthcare and athletics, Dr. Digney understands the extreme demands that we place on our bodies and that they endure every day. Through subluxation-based chiropractic care, Digney Family Chiropractic is committed to exceeding your healthcare, wellness and athletic needs, while promoting optimal health and helping you achieve your greatest potential.

Dr. Digney attended the University of Iowa, from 2001 - 2005, where he completed his undergraduate studies and earned a degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis on Therapeutic Recreation. While attending, he was named captain of the Iowa track and field team where he became a six-time All Big Ten award winner. During this time, Dr. Digney competed on some of the highest levels of athletics and against numerous Olympic gold medalists which brought about great respect for the body and its ability to meet the constant demands we place on it. After having completed his collegiate athletic career, he worked alongside some of the top orthopedic surgeons and therapists in the Midwest, as part of an in-patient rehabilitation team. Following his work in rehabilitation, Dr. Digney gained five years of experience in Special Education and Special Recreation working with individuals with disabilities. This allowed him to work with individuals with Autism, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and several other neurological disorders. These experiences showed Dr. Digney the need for holistic chiropractic care and the many benefits that it could provide in everyone's lives.

Following in the footsteps of ten family members before him, Dr. Digney later attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, from 2013-2017, where he completed his graduate studies and graduated cum laude earning a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in February of 2017. During his time at Palmer College, Dr. Digney interned in the rehabilitation department where he was instructed on and performed world-renowned and state-of-the-art recovery modalities. Dr. Digney was also an active member of the sports council which provided free chiropractic care to the community at various sports events.

Dr. Zachary Digney uses a vitalistic approach to meet the healthcare needs of his patients. A vitalistic approach meaning to approach illness or dysfunction with the belief that the body has an innate intelligence that maintains the body’s health and balance and that any disruption can lead to disease or delayed healing. Subluxations or interferences brought on by stressful thoughts, traumas or toxins are what cause these disruptions in innate intelligence, through nerve interference from brain cells to tissue cells. Dr. Digney identifies the underlying causes of these subluxations and uses precise, gentle chiropractic adjustments to correct them which removes the interference and, in turn, allows the body’s innate intelligence to return the body to health and regain its maximum potential.

Services offered by Dr. Digney at Digney Family Chiropractic include chiropractic care, nutritional counseling, corrective exercises, gait analysis, and sport-specific recovery plans. Our mission at Digney Family Chiropractic is to exceed your healthcare, wellness and athletic needs through neurologically-based chiropractic care. Dr. Digney enjoys spending time with his wife and family, running, hiking, biking, and being a part of the community. He has strong ties to his athletic roots and is proud to assist any that have questions regarding their health and well-being!
